This Policy explains how personal data related to lokebox.com and to communications started through its contact channels is handled.
2. Data we may receive
lokebox.com is an informational and business contact website. It does not offer user accounts or subscriptions.
We may receive personal data when someone fills in the contact form or reaches Lokebox through other channels, such as email or WhatsApp. Depending on the channel and the message, this data may include:
- name;
- company or organization;
- email address;
- phone number;
- role or position;
- the content of messages and questions;
- files or information the person chooses to send;
- information needed to understand and follow up on a business inquiry.
The providers that host or run the website may also create technical logs needed for its operation and security, such as the date and time of access, IP address, browser, device or requested resource.
3. Contact form
The form asks for name, email, company (optional) and a description of what the person would like to improve or build. None of this data is used for anything other than answering and following up on the inquiry.
When submitted, the data is sent over an encrypted connection to the website’s server, which stores it in a Lokebox database and sends an email notice to hola@lokebox.com. Along with the inquiry we record the date, the site language, the page it was sent from and the previous page on the site (or the external site the visit came from), the browser used and an encrypted code derived from the IP address, used only to limit abusive submissions. The IP address itself is not stored.
This relies on external providers: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database) and Resend (email notice). The form does not store anything in the browser.
4. How we use the data
Data received through the website or its contact channels may be used to:
- answer inquiries;
- contact the person who reached out;
- understand a company’s needs or processes;
- arrange meetings or demos;
- prepare and follow up on a possible business proposal;
- manage a business relationship once it starts;
- keep the website secure and working;
- meet applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for advertising.
5. Contact through WhatsApp
When someone chooses to contact Lokebox through WhatsApp, the conversation is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of WhatsApp and Meta, which run that service independently.
Lokebox uses information sent through that channel only to manage the conversation and the purposes related to the inquiry or relationship.
6. Technology providers and third parties
To run the website and its communication channels, Lokebox may use external technology providers, for example for web hosting, infrastructure, email or messaging. These providers process certain data only as far as needed to deliver their services.
Some providers may process information from other countries. Where applicable, Lokebox will seek to carry out these transfers in line with Argentine personal data protection law.
No data is shared with third parties for their own advertising based on the inquiries Lokebox receives.
8. Retention
Data is kept only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for and to manage a possible business relationship, and for any period required by legal obligations or to establish or defend legal claims.
When the data is no longer needed for those purposes, it will be deleted or, where appropriate, anonymized.
9. Security
Lokebox takes reasonable measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, use, change, disclosure or loss.
No system can guarantee absolute security, so these measures are reviewed according to the nature of the information and the technical means used.
10. Your rights
Under Argentine Law 25,326, data subjects may exercise the rights that apply to their information, including the right to:
- request access to their personal data;
- request that it be updated or corrected;
- request that it be deleted where applicable.
Requests can be sent to privacidad@lokebox.com. Access requests, and requests to correct, update or delete data, will be handled within the time limits set by law.
The Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP) is the supervisory authority for Law 25,326 and handles complaints about breaches of personal data protection rules.
11. Data processed within services hired by companies
This Policy does not replace the specific terms that apply to implementations hired by Lokebox clients.
Within those services, a client company may use the systems Lokebox builds to process information about its own employees, customers, suppliers or other people. When Lokebox processes that data on a client’s instructions, the scope, purpose and conditions are set by the relationship with that client and by applicable law.
12. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated when the website, the channels used or the applicable legal obligations change. The current version is the one published on this page with its last update date.
