Scene 02

Real light, not a gradient

One warm bulb, one cold edge, and an actual wet floor.

The scene carries two real light sources, not a color grade layered on afterward: a small, hard, warm area light standing in for a single garage bulb, and a colder, harder light behind the bike acting as a rim, separating the tank and tail from the near-black sky the way edge lighting always has for dark subjects.

The ground is a real reflective surface too, with its own roughness variation, so the pool of light under the bike is a genuine Cycles reflection of those two lights, the same way wet asphalt would double a real streetlamp, not a reflection painted into the floor texture.

Macro detail of the UMBRA CR-1 exposed engine, frame and rear shock, with the now brand-neutral tank sharing the frame

SCENE 03

Nothing hides the mechanism

The tank earned its silence.

Engine, frame and rear shock stay fully exposed, the way a cafe racer strips everything that isn’t function. The tank sits in the same frame deliberately unbadged, no crest, no wordmark, just paint and one real pinstripe of brass.
