The Table Ledger, No. L3

Amber Hour

Three glass pendants, staged for one table.

Seating I · The Arrival

A cluster of three warm glass pendant lights hanging low over a round marble table in a restaurant booth corner, a garnet velvet banquette with a brass trim behind it, dark walnut panelling and a warm light wash on the wall, the rest of the room falling into shadow
The table gets the light. The room stays in the dark.

Seating II · Remarks

No single fixture floods the room. Three glass globes, hung at staggered drops from one brass canopy, pool their warmth low over the marble, brass catching the glow, velvet giving almost none of it back. Everywhere that light doesn't reach is left honestly, deliberately dark.

Seating III · The Detail

Close macro detail of two frosted glass globes and a brushed brass cap and stem, warm amber light glowing from within the glass, a garnet velvet banquette soft out of focus behind them

Up close it is still frosted glass on a brass fitting, nothing invented. What changes the read is what sits under it: a marble top veined just enough to carry the glow without arguing with it, and a run of garnet velvet that answers back in a much deeper register.
