Field Note

No lampshade, no bulb to hide. The glass itself is the source — violet at the core, cooling to cyan at the rim, and every surface nearby, glass or steel or bare wall, has to answer to it.

Detail — Glass, Steel, Track

Everything around the fixture is there to catch its light: a polished floor to double it, a glass panel to bend it, a bare wall to fade it out on. Take any one of them away and the room reads flatter.
