Lokebox Studio — Explain No. 02
One performance helmet, pulled apart layer by layer until the protection stops hiding under a single smooth surface.
Structure, Not Surface
A helmet sold whole asks you to trust it. A helmet explained shows you why: the hard shell that resists, the foam that absorbs, the frame that reinforces, the pads that fit. Every layer pulled back along one line until the protection is visible, not assumed.
Construction, Panel by Panel
Six panels, left to right. Scroll or drag through at your own pace, nothing here locks the page until you reach the end.

Composite, vented, aero profile. The surface everyone assumes is the whole story.

EPS foam, impact absorption. The layer doing the actual work, hidden under the shell.

Rim reinforcement frame, holding the liner's shape under load.

Forehead, temple, nape contact. The last layer, closest to the part that matters.

Where the construction is most honest: a real cut through the shell wall, open straight down to the foam underneath. Airflow in, weight out, no surface left to hide the section behind.
