PRIMER lever espresso machine exploded along its own vertical axis: boiler body anchored, twin piston cylinders and levers lifted upward, sight tube lifted highest

Lokebox Studio — Explain No. 04

Primer

One lever espresso machine, taken apart along its own vertical axis until the mechanism reads as plainly as a museum label.

Plain, Not Staged

A machine sold whole asks you to admire it. A machine explained shows the idea underneath: two levers, two pistons, one boiler, built to push hot water through coffee under real pressure. Pulled apart along one line until the idea reads at a glance, the way a museum label would draw it.

Detail — Lever Group

The part that actually does the work: a hand pulls the lever, a piston drives down inside its cylinder, and water is forced through the coffee under real pressure. Everything else on the boiler exists to heat it, hold it, or show it.
